Support Us
The show must go on, and we value your support more than ever!
The Lantern Theatre has been a point of wonder, exchange and coming together since 1957. Never before has it closed. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak and government advice, like many theatres, we have had to close our doors. The performing arts is one of the sectors worst hit and will be one of the last to return.

We demonstrate that arts and theatre play an extraordinary part in people's lives, and access and opportunities give richness and vitality. Your support helps us to continue our community projects, creative programme and to maintain this important historic building.

We would like to thank the following trusts, foundations, and individuals for their support in 2020 and 2021.

We are hugely grateful to The JG Graves Charitable Trust and South Yorkshire’s Community Fund for their generous support of The Lantern Theatre throughout the Covid-19 crisis.

If you are interested in finding out how your organisation or business can help support the fantastic
work we do, please do get in touch. Contact our Development Director, Damon, by email at damon@lanterntheatre.org.uk.

We’d love to hear from you!
Thank You
We also thank all those individuals that donate, including our community of members who help us continue to be the best we can be.
Now, more than ever, we rely on donations to help us survive until we can reopen our doors. If you have enjoyed visiting us before, believe in the importance of our work and are able to support us at this challenging time, we would greatly value your help to safeguard our future.
As the restrictions begin to slowly ease, we’re making exciting improvements to our front-of-house, so we can welcome you back with a bang! We’re currently raising funds to make these exciting changes.

The show will go on!
