Passing Places is a fun, slightly chaotic Scottish road trip comedy about two friends looking to escape their ordinary lives. It’s full of quirky characters, humour, and a bit of heart too. There’s loads of room to really get into the characters and bring something unique to them – whether you’re after something with big laughs or a role with a bit of emotional depth.
What’s an Audition Workshop?
If you’re thinking, “I’ve never auditioned before,” don’t worry! Our audition workshops are designed to be relaxed and welcoming, so there’s no pressure. You’ll get to work alongside others, playing around with different activities and characters. No need to memorise lines. The idea is to explore the play together and have fun in the process.
It’s a great way to see if there’s a role that clicks with you, and the director will get a sense of how you approach a character in a really natural way. Even if you’ve never done anything like this before, give it a go! Community theatre is about bringing people from different walks of life together and discovering the magic of live performance.
